Leaving this game for a Week and then coming back to it not knowing where to start Probably wasnt the best idea for my first solo project, but nevertheless i have made progress either way! Added alot of little things like a little lever to pull when you arrive at the island as a "Demo Button" just to explain what things are on first island.


Added some changes so i can be compatible with certain plugins moving forward, i have purchased a couple of plugins and aquired a few free plugins that will dramatically change the game going forward (not included in this patch yet) these are things like Professions; Mining, Leatherworking, ect ...


Included a credits Roll once you reach the second island as i havent added any quests, npc or dialogue to second island as its still in the art phase (wanted to make a big impression when it is finally ready to go) will be doing second island 10 time better than first island when its time to add features and storylines so dont worry if the demo seems underwhelming, im not even started yet in the grand scheme of things.

Patch Notes - Version 0.2

Features Added:

  • Implemented Restore points, including both permanent and temporary ones at crucial stages of the game.
  • Added Rogue abilities, talents, and male character sprite. (Female sprite pending)
  • Added Priest abilities, talents, and male and female character sprites.
  • Updated starter choices to allow a maximum selection of 2.
  • Enhanced the appearance of "Beacons" where heroes are recruited at the start of the game.
  • Adjusted difficulty of the crab fight in the north of town to make it easier for players.
  • Added map scrolling dialogue for tutorial purposes during the intro and first visit to town.
  • Introduced a gamble feature in the Inn for added gameplay variety.
  • Resolved glitches causing player to get stuck in certain areas.
  • Blocked pathway through trees to guide players through intended areas.
  • Lowered stats for heroes slightly to provide a fairer challenge.

Next Steps:

  • Continued development of female character sprites for Rogue and Priest classes.
  • Further refinement of gameplay balance and difficulty.
  • Continued implementation of story elements and additional features.

THIS IS PURELY A DEMO.

I've Worked on this for a couple of days now, Have set out making Islands that have Different end goals, but Progressively get more fun as the numbers go up. (dps , hp,  modifiers ect)

i've spent about a day making and placing everything, but thought if i release something now then i'll be forced to fix small things and add the detail where its needed rather than power housing through making more stuff without fine-tuning and bug fixing the intro and first island.

if you are reading this and its your first time , THERE WILL BE BUGS, ITEMS/NPC's/FEATURES THAT SHOULD ONLY BE FOR DEVELOPER, find them and you have a easy game lol.

All in all, I want this to be a Springboard for me to Keep making and Developing other games like this one. as of writing thsi i have about 4 days of RPGMAKER Experience and nothing in Anything else, but this is a passion ive longed to seek out.
